Message from the President 

We are pleased and proud to inform you that NNASA will be holding their 5th National Conference for Neonatal Nurses in Bloemfontein in October 2012.
Our theme for 2012 is “A time to reflect … A time to Act”
Through our annual conferences we would like to build a platform from where our Neonatal Nurses will be able to communicate with and support one another, share innovative care, emphasize evidence based practice and begin the process of standardising many of our nursing care policies and practices.
After the success of co-hosting with the council of the International Conference of Neonatal Nurses (COIN), We now have two regional branches; one in Johannesburg and the other in Bloemfontein.
We have huge expectations for this conference as this is our first time, in bringing the conference to Bloemfontein and we aim to attract many new nurses involved in new-born care who have not had the opportunity of attending our conferences in the past. Hopefully they will be inspired and motivated as we share our vision and passion for improving standards of neonatal care.
In order to attract as many Neonatal Nurses as possible, the majority of whom have to pay for themselves, we endeavor to keep the registration fees as low as possible, it is therefore unlikely that the expenses incurred  in the organizing of the conference can be covered solely by the registration fee paid.
We hope you will continue supporting us in our endeavors to support Neonatal Nurses by partenering with us in the 2012 National Conference.
We look forward to working together in order to make this the most successful and influential conference yet!
